Chamonix is addictive. It is said to be the legendary birth place of mountaineering and its giant peaks and awe-inspiring glaciers have enchanted and captivated tourists for centuries. Located in the French Alps at 1042 m, the Valley is made up of 5 separate areas and spans 20 kilometres with the Mont Blanc Massif towering above it.
